CYROMAZINE
Character: Chemical compound, white
crystalline powder, odorless; non-soluble, soluble in
organic solution, stable while
meeting light.
Pharmacology: As a growth regulator for
insects, the product may restrain ecdysis of dipterous
larvae, especially the first stage ecdysis of larvae so that
fly and maggot may stop propagation and
then die. Outside-body tests show that after being disposed
by 1% cyromazine solution, fly and m- aggot die before ecdysis
though hatch is not influenced. Taken orally by chicken,
cyromazine can
kill out fly and maggot even at a terribly low content in dejecta. The lethiferous concentration to
50% of various flies is about 0.4- 2 mg / kg . When the concentration of
cyromazine reaches to
l mg/kg, growth of most fly and maggot in dejecta can be
controlled. And various of fly and maggot canbe controlled if the concentration of
cyromazine is up to
5mg/kg. Generally speaking, cyromaz-ine
may bring into effect in 6-24 hours after being taken. The
effect may last for 1 -3 weeks.
The product has no pollution to environment as it
may be degraded in soil. As a kind of fertilizer, cyromazine has no bad effect on growth of crops.
Also it may reduce fluidization of dejecta,
decrea-se ammonia and odor in the pen of livestock and
poultry, purify air inside the pen so that to
reduce respiratory diseases.
Purpose: Mainly control growth of
fly and maggot inside the pen, kill out fly and maggot in
the manure pit to protect environment.
